The Yashaswini Scheme Goa was launched on January 11, 2020, in the presence of Smt. Smriti Irani, the Union Minister of Textiles and Women and Child Development at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium at Taleigao South Goa.

The Government of Goa will provide interest free loan of up to Rs 5 lakh to women self-help groups (SHGs). The loan tenure is set for 5 years, with the total amount of disbursed in four instalments. The good thing is there is no repayment of loan from the first year, the repayment of loan will begin from the second year onwards.

The Yashaswini Scheme Goa is aimed at boosting women entrepreneurship by way of providing interest-free credit to Self Help Groups with business activity.

The scheme is designed to support women’s self-help groups (SHGs) by offering essential resources and opportunities that will improve their economic livelihood and promote financial independence.

According to the latest reports, the Goa government has set a goal for the financial year 2024 to create 11,000 Lakhpati Didis. In this regard, the government is providing all possible support to women entrepreneurs to help them become Lakhpati Didis.

You don’t need a certain number of members in your group to join the Yashaswini Scheme. This is good because more women can join and help each other. It’s a great way to meet other women and work together.

On Januray 11, 2020 the Yashaswini Scheme Goa was launched by Smriti Irani  the Union Women and Child Development Minister at Prasad Mukherjee Stadium in Taleigao near Panaji. .

The Chief Minister of Goa and other important people from the state government were also there to show how important this scheme is for women’s empowerment in the state of Goa.

STEP 1: All applicants who clear the eligibility criteria can visit the official MSME website to apply for the Yashasvini Scheme online. Provide your name, state and district.

STEP 2: Once the applicant reaches the home page of the official website the applicant must click on the option apply here. Create a user ID and email.

STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen the applicant must enter all the details that are asked and attach all the necessary documents on the application form.

STEP 4: After you enter all the details the applicant shall quickly review it and click on the option to submit to complete their process.
