What is the Mamta Scheme for girls? It is a financial incentive scheme for mothers who deliver a girl child (MAMTA). The Scheme is applicable to those mothers who deliver a live girl child (maximum 02 deliveries) in the registered medical institution.

Under this Scheme an amount of Rs. 10,000/- shall be paid to all the mothers who delivers a girl child in the registered medical institution. The Scheme typically includes direct cash transfers to their bank accounts to help the mothers to cover healthcare expenses.

1. One applying for the benefits shall be a mother who has delivered a live girl child in a registered medical institution.
2. The scheme is available to all regardless of their social or economic status.
3. The applicant (Mother) shall be residing in Goa for the past three years or married to a resident of Goa.
4. The application is to be made within 45 days of delivery. The application shall be made through the Child Development Project Officer through the local Angawadi Centre along with the application form and the child’s birth certificate or even a report from the medical institute enough.

1. Register on www.goaonline.gov.in by providing your email id, mobile no, name, address and date of birth along with OTP authentication.

2. On successful registration, login using credentials and click on Services Menu –> All Services –> Directorate of Women & Child Developement –> Financial Incentives to Mothers who deliver a Girl Child (MAMTA) Scheme

3. Fill in the application form.

4. Upload the necessary documents as per requirement.

5. Clauses towards declaration form needed to be duly checked and submitted.

6. Click on the submit application button to submit the application to the department.

7. An acknowledgement SMS and Email will be sent upon submission of the form. Note the acknowledgement no. for application tracking.

Mothers who are eligible and wish to apply offline shall visit the “Child Development Project officer at the ICDS Block Office in their respective Taluka, Specifically at “Anganwadi Centres”

Note: The application shall be submitted within 45 days of the delivery.

1-  Residence proof showing that the applicant has been residing in Goa for at least 3 years, or proof the applicant is married to a Goan resident (Marriage Certificate or husband’s Residential Certificate).

2-  Aadhar Card copy certified or self–attested.

3–  Birth Report or Birth Certificate from the Registered Institution certified or self-attested.

4–  Pre-Receipt duplicated.

The money sanctioned will be directly deposited into the specified bank account within a few days.
